 What's the difference between expensive synthetic gut like NXT16 compared to Prince gut w/ dura? Durability? I am debating whether I should pay for NXT16 or prince synthetic gut w/ dura. I can pay 10$ for the wilson NXT16 and $3 for prince synthetic w/ dura. I want to know which string is more durable, and most cost efficient. I do not care too much about feel, because I want to save money on strings and stringing costs. If by any chance, you know of other cheap and durable synthetic gut, please give me suggestions. I am looking to buy only 16G strings. I might buy poly later when I get better but I don't tend to break strings fast right now. Been suggested to hybrid with alu bb power and pro hurricane. I am a NTRP 3.0 player who has played for 4 months with 2 wilson k factor 6.1 95's 16x18 and a k factor tour 90. I just got these racquets in under 2 months and kept rotating plus play every few days here and there. That is why my strings haven't broken yet, but I can see the strings being bitten into already so they will break very soon. NXT 16 is not synthetic gut, it's a multi-filament string. Prince synthetic gut with duraflex is the best synthetic gut there is. However, NXT 16 is more durable since it a better made materials. There is a new Wilson Hollow Core synthetic gut coming out.
